Field Trips to Rogers Center are available year round.
Our goal at Rogers Center is to help you meet New York’s Learning Standards by providing you and your learners with programs that focus on the Science, Engineering, Math and Literacy Practices.
Using Nature and the outdoors as our classroom, our lessons are cross-curricular.
Travelling Naturalist
When you can’t come to us, we can come to you. Whether it’s in your classroom or out on your school’s grounds, we can help open your learners’ eyes to the natural world around them.
If there is a program you’d like us to lead, but you don’t see it offered, we can work with you to develop a session that meets the needs of you and your learners.
The natural world belongs to everyone, and it is our goal to introduce as many people as possible to its wonders.
Funding
Connect Kids to Parks Field Trip Grant Program Connect Kids connects New York school children with nature, outdoor recreation and history by funding transportation costs and program fees. Application process is easy. https://parks.ny.gov/environment/connect-kids/grant-program.aspx
Applications must be submitted four (4) weeks prior to the field trip date, and no earlier than six (6) months prior to the field trip date.
