Remediation of plot 5 to remove grasses - Many volunteers spent weeks “performing surgery” to remove individual blades of grass to allow flowers room to grow
Black eyed Susans in full bloom - ACHIEVE works hand-in-hand with Colgate COVE students during their day of service–August 19th, to harvest seed heads for replanting. Many thousands of seed heads were left to dry on tarps and seeds will be harvested by volunteers.
Karen Singh dedicated many hours this summer, and one of her projects was clearing in front of the Visitors Center in August to make space for new memorial bricks.
